El Portezuelo Hill

The El Portezuelo Pass is a magnificent, winding mountain road that climbs through breathtaking landscapes.

The viewpoint is located at 1,070 meters above sea level, offering panoramic views of the Central Valley and its myriad shades of green, a quality that inspired the well-known zamba song "Paisaje de Catamarca" (Landscape of Catamarca). From the summit, majestic condors can also be seen soaring above the valley.
