The Virgin of El Rodeo

At the top of the hill, an imposing statue of the Virgin of the Valley welcomes visitors. The statue measures 52 meters in total (and 38 meters from feet to crown), making it 7 meters taller than the Statue of Liberty in the USA and 8 meters taller than Christ the Redeemer in Brazil. There are 117 steps to reach the interior viewpoint (an elevator is planned for the next phase of the project).
Once at the top, after getting out of the vehicle, a dirt path leads approximately 70 meters to the entrance of the complex. There you will find a bar with coffee service (currently, there is no menu for people with celiac disease) and restrooms. Currently, payment is cash only.
